Shattuck woke up this morning to a snow outside his window.

Lale and I took Shattuck to La Baguette this morning.  If my goal for Shattuck was to introduce him the better things in life… then there is nothing better than the Pecan Danish at La Baguette.

Shattuck likes to listen to music during his bath.  He likes Truckin’ by Grateful Dead…

Sometimes the lights all shinin on me;
Other times I can barely see.
Lately it occurs to me what a long, strange trip its been.

Lale and I joined the Lewis Family for dinner tonight.

Shattuck loves his Snuggie.  It comforts him while leaving his hands free to hold his bottle, read his favorite book, or pet Fletcher.

Tonight was the Phoenix Club’s Casino Night party Downtown.  I joined Bentley and Jenny Pembroke, Matthew and Courtney Wages, and Wilson and Allison Pace for dinner at Slices in Midtown.  The food was good.  As much as Lale and I wanted to join our friends for the party, we decided we were too tired and would wait until next year.  Besides, we had all the entertainment we wanted with Shattuck.  He smiled at me after I changed him this evening.

Friday evening Lale, Shattuck and I brought home pizza from High Point Pizza and then had peppermint ice cream and chocolate sauce next to the fire.

Cousin Evans Wilson was in town from New York and stopped by for dinner.  We were so glad to see her and so happy she could meet the newest family member.  We’ll have to send him up for a visit to the Big Apple when he old enough.

Lale and West went to Buntyn Day School where Anne Hartmann currently attends classes.  They played with the kids and gave them pointers on Dental care. 

Uncle Albert Shattuck came up to Memphis to see young William Shattuck.
