Shattuck tried his first jelly bean this week.  He wasn’t sure at first what he was about to taste when I gave him the lime green jelly bean.  He put it in his mouth and you could tell the minute he bit into it he was in heaven.  The joy he expressed on his face is almost indescribable.

Grandmother Signe made Shattuck a new set of Church clothes.

Today marks one year that Shattuck has been going to St. John’s Episcopal Church.  Today was the Kirken of the Tarten.  Shattuck seemed to enjoy the Wolf River Band’s bag pipes.




Shattuck wore his God Father Bond Hopkin’s old Harris Tweed over coat and hat (Bond was fitted in London on a trip with his parents).



The Church was full of people holding up their family tartens.







All of Shattuck’s friends were there.  He had a great time seeing all of them and talking to them in Church.



After Church we went to Paulettes.  This is Shattuck’s Great Grandmother Nan’s favorite restaraunt.  He stuffed himself on the pop overs.



After lunch, Shattuck slept all the way home.  He’s had a busy day.
