Down on the River

Lale, Shattuck and I went downtown to show our condo for rent (great rooftop deck, 2 plasma screen tvs – utilities and cable included – $1,300 all in)… the person was a no-show.  Oh well… we decided to take a walk down the river bluff and then go to Pearl’s for dinner.

We had Fried Calamari for apps followed by raw oysters for Lale and Alaskan Crab Legs for me.  The food was great!

Mr. and Mrs. Head came to see their Grandson Wilson B. Pace.   As we were eating, they walked into Pearls for Friday night dinner.  Shattuck’s buddy Wilson B. was enjoying his fries and chicken.

Shattuck’s Visit

Shattuck was so happy to see his Grandmother.  Fletcher was just as excited.  He remembers her everytime she comes to Memphis and is so happy to see her… the only problem is that he expresses his love by biting your neck while you sit.  Shattuck’s eyes lit up when I passed him to his Grandmother.  He smiled as big as he could and eventually we heard laughter from him.  After she and Andrew left, I took him for a walk around the block… it’s amazing that I feel a since of accomplishment just because I was able to walk the baby and the dog around the block at the same time.

Shattuck’s Trip To The MS Delta

Shattuck went down the the Mississippi Delta this weekend to see his family.   He had a lot of fun playing with his Grandfather (Grandmother was in New Orleans visiting his Uncle Gray and Aunt Shelley).  Grandfather Adams was so much fun.  Shattuck laughed and laughed.  On the way home, Lale could tell that he’s going to love going to visit the MS Delta often…. let his education begin.
