Shattuck’s First Flight

I took Lale and Shattuck to the Airport Wednesday evening.  They were going to Florida to see Lale’s sister graduate from Dental School.  He talked the entire flight.Security didn’t allow me to walk him to the gate.

On the subject of travel.  This picture is of Shattuck’s Great-Great-Great Grandfather (standing) W.T. Adams outside the W.T. Adams Machine Co. in Corinth, MS.  Ready for a trip in the buggy is his Great-Great Grandfather W.C. (Chubby) Adams, William Adams, and Estelle Adams.  How travel has changed.

Paperworks Roof

Lale, Shattuck, and I went Downtown Memphis to our condo to see how the construction was going.  Jim Bob is doing a great job with the new wall he’s putting up so we can rent it as a two bedroom.  We decided to go up and spend the next hour on the roof to enjoy the beautiful weather.  Then we went around the corner to the coffee shop on Main St. near the Arcade.

Boys Night In

Shattuck decided to go outside and enjoy the first pretty day we’ve had in Memphis in a few days.  The weather was beautiful.  His mother went to a neighborhood get together for women.  The boys are fending for ourselves this evening.  Shattuck is going to have a bottle of milk and go to bed.

Shattuck Goes To Work

Shattuck’s first day on the Trade Desk was very busy.  He started his day around noon… he doesn’t believe in coming in before the open.  After lunch… he went up to his desk and after a few minutes talking with the Traders… he took a nap.  After his nap… he took a bathroom break, ate a little more, and then took another nap.  4:00pm came along and it was time to pack up and go home.
