Lale, Andrew, Gray, Shelley, and I took a ride up the mountain today and walked down.  We are on our way to go rafting.  The girls will raft while the men kayak.

We had a great dinner in the Baucus room in the Rainbow Ranch.  Chef Michael Ruhland did a great job.  We were the first to use his new room.

We all went fishing this afternoon along the Galatin River.  We parked and walked in approx. a half mile and made camp.  Shattuck had a great time.

We went on a horse backed ride.  We had a great time.  There were 10 of us as well as 2 guides.  Dad watched after Shattuck.

This bear was outside the house we rented.

Lale, Nora, Albert and I took a ride up to the top of the mountain and walked down.  This place is beautiful.

Andrew, Emily, Gray, and Shelley arrived around 4:30pm.  We grilled burgers for dinner.

Shattuck has a great baby sitter.

We are having a great time in Big Sky, MT.

Shattuck has been playing with Fletcher and the new puppy all day…



Anne Hartmann was so happy Rainbow came home…





Fletcher is very watchful of the new puppy… who has yet to be named (except by Anne Hartmann)…

We have a new puppy.  We have not come up with a name yet.  We should probably consult Anne Hartman when she returns from her vacation at the beach.



Fletcher is less than thrilled… while the puppy nipped at his tail… Shattuck tried to run him in his walker…

Fletcher is going to have his hands full.

In one week, we will all be going on vacation to Big Sky.   I’m not sure if that is in Wyoming or Montana… but it sounds like fun.

Lale, Shattuck, Albert, Nora, Brantley, Mom, Dad, and I are all flying on the same plane out.  I wonder if Shattuck will sit in my lap the entire trip… or will he sit in his Grandfather’s lap.  A better question would be, does anyone think my father will even look out the window… or better yet… acknowledge he is even on a flight while he has Shattuck playing with him?  Shattuck loves playing with his Grandfather.  Even in our home, when he is sitting in my lap in front of the computer, he grabs for the picture of Grandfather on the screensaver on our laptop.
