Shattuck joined West and Anne Hartmann for a trip to the beach.  They all went Destin on Sunday.  I am just now joining everyone.  They are having a great time.

Grandfather Adams came up this weekend to play with Shattuck.  He learned a lot from this visit.  Grandfather would record Shattuck yelling in his I-Phone and play it back to him.  Shattuck would respond to his own voice in kind (definitely a form of communication).  He wanted to touch the I-Phone so we put him on the floor.  He belly crawled to the phone.  Then he continued on to the window and tried to pull himself up.  Everyweek is something new.

Lale finally gave the little puppy a name.  Introducing Mintie… she won’t look at the camera..



… when she finally did look at the camera… she stuck her tongue out… she is going to be a handful.

Cousin Palmer and Richard Burt stopped by this afternoon to see Shattuck.  We loved the company.  I told Palmer that Lale and I have decided we were going to take Shattuck back to the Litchfield Inn on Pawley’s Island when he’s ready to start going to the beach.  We had a great time there when we attended their wedding.  Shattuck had a great time playing with everyone.

Blanco Diablo (White Devil)…

Shattuck can sit up and play with his blocks now… he can’t sit up on his own… but he can stay upright on his own.

Shattuck joined the big people’s table this evening in is first high chair.

We had a great trip to Montana, and now that we are back we are relaxing with Fletcher and the new puppy… which Anne Hartmann has named Rainbow Ladybug Barbie Thumbalina Adams…

Chef Andrew (with some help by Gray) cooked everyone a great meal the last night in Montana.



Shattuck is going to miss playing everyday with his Grandfather.  Everyday, while everyone else went to do something fun, Grandfather Adams played with Shattuck.  He learned so much from his Grandpapa on this trip… he already misses him.
