I gave Shattuck his bath tonight… and decided to take a few pictures.  Can you find the dog in the below pictures?

Good Afternoon Shattuck

Shattuck was happy to see me when I came home this morning… and so was his mother.  I think Lale is exhausted from watching after him all day and the new puppy.  He’s getting bigger.  I went back to previous posts to see how much he’s grown.

My mother told me of the passing of Pup McCarty this afternoon.   One of my favorite pictures taken of me when I was a baby was taken in Lee and Pup’s back yard.  That picture is in my room.

Lale and I visited their home in Merigold a few years ago and Lee asked me if I was Waxhaw’s brother. He then went upstairs to pull out an Episcopal Mitre Shell (below) and told me that all Episcopalians that pass through his doors receive one.

Shattuck After His Bath

I gave Shattuck his bath this evening.  He’s pretty good about his sponge bath.  Shattuck fell asleep on our bed after his bath…

… and along came the little Gremlin…

…she only wanted to play with Shattuck… but Lale picked her up and put her on the floor.  Sorry Ladybug… you’ll have to wait until he’s older.

Anne Hartmann and West Lewis played with Ladybug.

The first thing Anne Hartmann said was, ‘He’s so cute… let’s call him Rainbow!’

So… now we have a girl dog name ‘Rainbow’ and a son named ‘Mary Pete’ according to her.

Shattuck and Ladybug played peek-a-boo.   Shattuck smiled at her while she looked around the corner of the chair’s arm.

Shattuck is prepared for his morning trip with Fletcher and me to La Baguette to pick up Lale’s almond croissant.

Ladybug can be very sweet.  Fletcher took to her immediately.  They have already started to play together… and he let’s her like his face…

…be careful Fletcher… I’d watch her like a hawk…

Ladybug is the newest member of our family.  Lale and I felt Fletcher needed a new friend to play with.

Ladybug is two weeks older than Shattuck.
